- MSD is a very poor tool for diagnosing com port problems - in fact, we
- just released a paper on our home page which describe some of the
- difficulties in using it

- I suspect that MSD is "sliding" the com4 port and reporting it as
- Com3. If you download PortInfo / CTS Serial Port Utilities from our
- home page, I think you'll find PortInfo will tell the whole story
- about your port problems.
